A reception commemorating the publication of the book "You
Can Change the World" was held in Tokyo in the banquet room

book, originally published in Europe by the Club of Budapest President
Dr. Ervin Laszlo, is a joint publication with Mrs. Masami Saionji,
Chairperson of the Goi Peace Foundation and an honorary member of
the Club of Budapest.
The Japanese version published by Kawade Shobo Shinsha Publishers
in November 2002 has already sold over ten thousand copies, and
has received favorable reviews.
The reception was organized by leading personalities in Japan: Genshitsu
Sen, Former Grand Tea Master; Yasuhiro Nakasone, Former Prime Minister
of Japan; Kazuo Inamori, Honorary Chairman of Kyocera Corporation;
and Haruo Suzuki, Senior Counselor of Showa Denko. About 400 guests
were in attendance, many of whom being regarded as leading opinion
makers in the fields of business, politics, media, culture and the
arts.
The two authors, Dr. Laszlo and Mrs. Saionji, inspired the audience
with their speeches, touching upon the current world crisis and
how each one of us can indeed contribute to changing the world.
Some congratulatory messages were also presented including one from
Michael Gorbachev.
The reception was a great success, and an excellent opportunity
to introduce the book to a wide array of influential leaders in
various fields in Japan.
