On November 22, 1999, the premier screening of Gaia Symphony II International Version was presented at the Tokyo American Club by the film director Jin Tatsumura with the support of the Goi Peace Foundation and Kyocera Corporation.
Gaia Symphony is a series of documentary films featuring individuals of wisdom who emphasize spirituality as being the most important human quality for living in harmony with our Mother Earth Gaia. In Japan, through grass-roots distribution networks, over 1.5 million people have seen these films.
The Tokyo premier screening and reception celebrated the worldwide launch of the long awaited English version of Gaia Symphony. The three hundred guests included Their Imperial Highnesses Prince and Princess Takamado, as well as Ambassadors and leaders of international businesses in Tokyo.
Mr. Jin Tatsumura welcomed the guests and invited Mr. Kazuo Inamori, Honorary Chairman of Kyocera Corporation to offer his remarks. In the reception following the screening, Prince Takamado and Mr. Hiroo Saionji, President of the Goi Peace Foundation each offered a congratulatory speech. Everyone enjoyed the inspirational evening, which included episodes of the film making shared by Mr. Tatsumura and Hollywood producer Mr. Naofumi Okamoto joined by Mr. Jacques Mayor, the ocean adventurer, and Ms. Hatsume Sato, Founder of Mori no Ischia, who appeared in the film.
