Goi Peace Foundation Forum 2009
The Next Stage of Human Evolution: Insights from the Frontiers of Science

What does New Science tell us about the true nature of human beings and the universe? What implications do they have on our way of life and the future of humanity?

The Goi Peace Foundation Forum 2009 was held at the Ginza Blossom Hall in Tokyo on November 8, 2009, to explore these questions under the theme “The Next Stage of Human Evolution: Insights from the Frontiers of Science.”

Centered around the lecture by the 2009 Goi Peace Award laureate Bruce Lipton, the participants discussed how each of us can unleash our innate power and become creators of our own life and a new viable civilization.

Science and Spirituality spontaneously melded together as the program flowed from Dr. Lipton’s enlightening commemorative address, young people’s powerful presentations, to the final Talk Session entitled “Toward Our Positive Future.” Enthusiasm and a sense of oneness filled the hall of a thousand people, each of whom seemed to have captured an empowering message from the forum.

Commemorative Address “The Biology of Belief” / Bruce Lipton

The 2009 Goi Peace Award was presented to cell biologist Bruce Lipton. In his commemorative address, Dr. Lipton emphasized that genes and DNA do not control our biology; that instead DNA is controlled by signals from our environment, including our thoughts and beliefs.

A cell biologist by training, he taught at the University of Wisconsin’s School of Medicine, and later performed pioneering studies at Stanford University.
