My Ideas About Better Life

The idea of the project is to promote an ecological life, to make people look inside themselves and change their behavior and to give positive examples to motivate environmentally manners. Until it is not too late we have to take measures to keep our universal home – the Earth.

I can suggest a number of steps that can be taken easily to reach the goal of this project.

First, I can establish a volunteer organization called Green patrols. I will invite my classmates and my friends to join it. During the weekends and school holidays we will go to the nearest places around our town and the beach and gather rubbish like plastic carrier bags, bottles, packages from pastries and so on. We can also play games and it all will turn into a pleasant excursion.

Second, I will organize my class to clean our classroom. I will ask everyone to bring some buckets, sponges, detergents and our room will be clean and shiny in one afternoon.

Third, as a member of the school council, I will suggest organizing a school competition for the cleanest room. I will suggest providing recycle bins for separately gathering the rubbish in every classroom. There will be bins for plastic, paper, glass and metal.

Fourth, I will make an Internet site where I will invite children from all schools in Bourgas and  Bulgaria to join the competition for the cleanest school and town.

Fifth, It will be good to organize a competition for making the most beautiful bag from cotton cloth. The most original of them can be produced. There are some business firms in our town, which can do that. I will contact an ecological organization to help me with that. The next step will be to promote these bags to shops and supermarkets so that people can buy them and carry their purchases in them instead of using or buying plastic carrier bags.

Sixth, I will encourage my classmates to draw pictures, make postcards, cakes and biscuits and sell them when we celebrate Christmas, Valentine s day, Easter etc. With the money we will buy seeds, trees, bushes and plant them around our school.

Seventh, I will persuade my classmates to go to school by bicycles instead of taking the bus.
