Taekwondo is the national martial art of Korea, Japan’s neighboring country and is an official event of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Taekwondo’s spectacular footwork is one of its main attractions, and provides trainees with a well-balanced workout for the entire body, especially the lower body while helping them to instill good manners and etiquettes at the same time. Many of the K-pop idols who captivate the world fans with their sharp performances have Taekwondo experience.
In Taekwondo, there are Gyeorug (=combats) in which you fight with opponents, and Poomsae (=forms) in which you exercise by yourself. In this trial lesson of the Earth Kids e-Space program, you will learn some basic movements of Poomsae which don’t involve fighting through your PC, tablet device or smartphone screen in your room. At the same time, you will learn simple Korean such as greetings and numbers.
Why don’t you experience Taekwondo movements and improve your athletic ability and become fit?
