Deepak Chopra, an American medical doctor born in India, is the author of over 55 books published in more than 85 languages, with numerous best sellers on mind-body health, spirituality, and peace, including Peace Is the Way, which won the Quill Award, and The Book of Secrets, which was awarded the grand prize at the 2005 Nautilus Book Awards. Dr. Chopra is a popular international presenter and keynote speaker, a radio program host, and a columnist. He is the founder and chairman of the Chopra Center for Wellbeing in Carlsbad, California, and the Chopra Foundation. He is also a fellow of the American College of Physicians, a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, an adjunct professor at Kellogg School of Management, and a senior scientist with the Gallup Organization.
