Peace Pals International joined with IUCN and DiversEarth for the 20th Anniversary, to inspire peace education around the globe in relation to environmental protection, with the theme of Nature for All – Loving the Earth. Over 4,000 entries received from 35 countries.

Young entrepreneurs (age 15-35) from around the world are invited to submit their innovative ideas and projects with a sociental impact, which champions and implements one or more of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
Lecturers for the 2017 academic year include a former premier of the Republic of China (Taiwan), ambassadors of Kazakhstan, Colombia, Panama, Germany, Rwanda and Cambodia as well as Japanese diplomats and NGO representatives. The general public is welcome to attend the lectures free of charge.
